Best Lavender Ice Cream Recipe
I have to say, this lavender mascarpone ice cream is sweet enough for me! I should probably mention that I’ve been known to drink maple syrup straight from the bottle, so maybe don’t take my opinion on sweetness as the final word. If you’re looking for something sweeter, feel free to add more honey or maple syrup to taste. I’m not here to judge.
The recipe is designed to be keto-friendly, and the nutrition table reflects this. Please note that if you do add any type of sweetener, this will affect the nutritional information.

Ingredients
Lavander Flowers (fresh or dried)
250 ml (1 cup) Heavy Cream
250 g (8.8 oz) Mascarpone Cheese
Pinch of Salt
Chocolate Chunks or Chocolate Morsels
Directions
- In a saucepan, combine 100 ml (1/2 cup) of the heavy cream with a 2 tablespoons of lavender flowers. If using dried lavender, a tablespoon will be sufficient.
- Add a pinch of salt to enhance the flavors.
- Bring the cream and lavender to a gentle boil over low heat, stirring occasionally. Allow it to simmer for a couple of minutes to infuse the cream with the lavender’s delightful aroma.
- After the lavender cream has infused, remove the saucepan from the heat and let it cool slightly. Using a blender or immersion blender, carefully process the lavender cream until the flowers are finely blended into the cream. This will ensure that the ice cream captures the lavender essence. Add the remaining heavy cream (1/2 cup) and freeze for 30 min.
- In a separate mixing bowl, combine the mascarpone cheese with frozen Lavender Cream.
- Use a mixer and whisk the cold cream until it turns into a well-combined mixture
- Add a handful of chocolate drops (optionally chopped walnuts) to the ice cream.
- Transfer the ice cream into an airtight container, spreading it evenly. Place the container in the freezer to firm up for at least 2-3 hours.
- Scoop the Lavender Stracciatella Ice Cream into bowls or cones, garnishing it with a sprinkle of fresh lavender flowers for a delightful finishing touch. Savor the captivating aroma and delicate flavors of this floral-infused treat, a dreamy escape to tranquility in every mouthful.
